Those that know me know that I am a very family oriented person. My family and friends mean more to me than anything else in the world. I value the friendships that I have.

I have never been married before. I spent most of my life working and helping out my family. I owned the salon I work in for 11 years. My parents were my partners in the business. My Mom and I did most of the work. When my Mom got sick, I put the shop up for sale. It was too much, and the time spent with my Mom meant more to me than the money I would make. I still work at the salon, and plan to even when we move. I’ll be traveling back each month. Over the years so many of my clients have become good friends and are like family to me.

I like to help people. I don’t need to be recognized for it. I just think that if everyone did one good deed for someone, the world would be so much happier.

I enjoy time spent with both of our families. I also love to spend time with my friends. They have even gotten used to Ken. Thank goodness.

I like to travel. I like to spend time outdoors. I love being near the water and beaches, I find it relaxing to go and walk by the water.

I am a spiritual person. I do believe my Mom and God had something to do with Ken and I meeting. She always said there was someone out there for me. But did he have to be so far out there? (Just Kidding)

I love to joke and play. I thank God for my sense of humor, it’s gotten me through some of the hardest times of my life. I like to play and do silly things. I think it keeps you young. I really enjoy making Ken do some of these things. He’s really gotten a sense of humor and learned to relax.

Most of all, I love making people laugh and smile. To me there is nothing better than seeing someone smile. I’ve been blessed with family and oh so many friends that keep the smile on my face. And when I was grateful for that, Ken came into my life and made me smile just a little brighter.
