We are gifted to have so many friends. We would have loved to have had all of you in our bridal party but just couldn’t. We’ve asked several of our friends to do things for us the day of our wedding. And thankfully they said yes. We wanted to make it a day to remember, and a day shared with loved ones. We wanted everyone to have a part in it. We are so honored to have our friends and family join us for this special day. Thank you all for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Most of all, thank you for being there for us.  We will remember your thoughtfulness forever.

Carol is my sister. She’s been there for me all my life. I wanted her as my Matron of Honor because she’s my sister, and because no matter what she’s always been there for me. And in her own little way, she tries to make things better for me, and still tries to take care of me. In many ways she tries to fill my Mom’s shoes. I love her more than I can ever say in words. We grew up like twins and in many ways have a bond like that.

Charlie is Ken’s younger brother. It meant the world to him when he asked Charlie to be his best man and Charlie said yes without hesitation. Ken was ready for him to say he may not be able too. Ken hasn’t seen Charlie in a while and is so excited that he’s going to be here, and participate. He is so looking forward to spending some time with Charlie and his family.

The rest of the bridal party is made up of Kathy’s nieces and nephews, and Kens daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters. Kathy’s nieces and nephews are the children she never had. We wanted to have the two sides of the families, so they would know how important they are to us. When we wed and become one, we want our families to unite as well. We want all of them to know that we love them very much, and we look forward to a lifetime of happiness shared with all of them as well.
